This
page is designed to show the variety of subjects covered by
the Club and its members in their video productions. To view the video content, you need to

The Club owns a wide range of video equipment, all of which is available for members' use.
A computer, video projector and stereo sound system are also
part of the Club's equipment.
The Club held its annual awards night on
Monday, 14th April. Ray Caniffi, lecturer at James Watt College,
adjudicated and awarded the prizes.
The Club Championship was won by Jane Seymour with her
documentary, 'Madeleine', about a mallard duck that came to
raise its young in her garden last year. This film secured for
her not just the Walter Smith Quaich, but also the Paterson Cup,
awarded for the Club’s best novice’s film. Click below on

Jim Muldoon was also prominent amongst the prize winners, collecting the Douglas Brain Quaich and
the Jack Young Cup for his two open-category films, ‘Desperately Seeking Jack’
and ‘Seamill Jurassic Park’. The former was considered to have the best sound content,
for which Jim also received the Thomas Cup. 'Desperately Seeking Jack’ is shown below.
Desperately Seeking Jack
Walter Smith won the Hunter Shield in recognition of his film,
‘SWS (South West Scotland)’, which combined both slides and video content.
